So I assemble our 200 litre rain barrel which I set under a drip from one side of this little cabin to see how much rain we can collect here. By the end of a drizzly day it’s more than half full and I’ve talked to another couple which harvests rain, Brits with Welsh connections. Within 24 hours the barrel is full. Will this rain ever stop? No way you should ignore this asset.
Have to store the woodstove, in Michael’s container which is dry and half empty. Then, because the weather doesn’t encourage Wayne and Janet to sail, they offer to spread shale at the house site with Michael. Meanwhile I work on chicken-wiring the garden... All I need now is a gate. I must take a photo of this job to show Barry Reynolds that I do occasionally work.
The house site is taking shape. The photo of the day shows Mary-Anne and Michael in a typical high-stress pose. Mary-Anne was talking about how long we all live these days with the drugs we’ve got. No wonder too if we lie around like this all day.
