Thursday 16 June 2011 The sun shines, the Masterbuilder smiles and the forms take shape

Just as we are slipping into a deep funk about all this rain, the sun breaks through and bakes the building site for 24 hours. The MB realizes that this is going to be a hot space when the sun shines. “Not often then,” I comfort him. We get one wall finished and for those of you taking an interest in the construction side of these notes the two photos show what the forms should look like. Each sheet of 4 by 8 takes about a couple of hours of preparation, more at the beginning, and we have 38 to install. I have to tie the keys into place with duct tape and I think of the Red Green show: what can this tape NOT be used for? I love duct tape.
