Tuesday 14th June RAIN RAIN RAIN

So we take off for Port Hawkesbury, the weekly shop and a bunch of jobs I have to do. Go by Joe the engineer's office to pick up our permit to build a septic system. Thank you, Environment Cepartment. Go by the tupper Lake industrial facility to meet Grumpy Whalen and try to buy a huge tank for rainwater (failed). Go by Canadian Tire to pick up my credit card: the cashier has a whole drawer full of abandoned cards! Go by the bank for more building cash. Go by Central to get more building supplies. Go by the Beer shop to get another kit for beer. Go by Tim Hortons for a coffee and a raisin bran muffin (with butter). Amazing what has quickly become a treat in these circumstances. And then we go back to the Master Builder fuming at the wet weather. We manage to build (almost) one of the two walls needed for a wall form. In the photo the MB is pretty proud of his wall.
